I rode to work yesterday...and yes, I knew it was going to be stinky hot on the way home. I was able to get out a bit early...rode home and then decided to run the trail near my home. (that I also bike)
In the heat, my run was more like a walk, but I came across a small garter snake and BOY did my knees all of a sudden lift high! Good to know I actully CAN lift my knees when needed to avoid critters in the path.
The Trails are a great way to prepare for Ragbrai, coming in only one more week.
Linn County Trails are raising money for hardsurfacing the trail North of Boysen road. Whether you bike or run....enjoy the trails and consider contributing towards them. Check out their website.
